The Clemson wide receiver corps was took a hit Monday afternoon, as it was announced that star wideout Justyn Ross will miss the 2020 season because of a spinal injury. ESPN reports that the condition was discovered during an x-ray before the coronavirus shutdown. It is apparently something he has had his whole life but had not been diagnosed. Ross will undergo surgery later this week. Ross was expected to be the Tigers top receiver and a consensus 1st round NFL prospect.
Ok, so I’m a little late with this one. The draft kind of took over last week, but Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has signed a 10 year, $93 million contract extension. There is reportedly a specific buyout included if he ever decides to leave for Alabama. Swinney led his team to a 15-0 record and a national championship last season, his second in his 11 years with the program. Swinney is now the highest paid coach in college football. #Clemson #coach #DaboSwinney #colleg
