2 highly drafted NFC North picks sign their rookie deals
ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that Packers first round pick Darnell Savage and Vikings second round pick Irv Smith Jr have signed their rookie contracts.
Savage, a safety taken 21st overall out of Maryland, signed a 4 year deal with a 5th year team option (that is available for all first round picks. I have yet to see what the financial terms of the deal are.
Smith, a tight end taken 50 overall out of Alabama, reportedly signed a 4 year $5.78 million deal with a $2.237 million signing bonus.
The Vikings have also signed late round picks Oli Udoh and Marcus Epps to their rookie deals, according to Vikings Wire.
