2022 RB Draft Prospects
As the NFL has become more reliant on potent passing offenses, there have been fewer teams willing to select a running back in the early rounds. Normally, there are maybe one or two selected in the first round, but it has been four years since a team has used a top ten pick at the position (The Giants took Saquon Barkley second overall in 2018).
This year there is a two-horse race for the top running back between Iowa State's Breece Hall and Michigan State's Kenneth Walker III. Either player could come off the board as early as the back half of the first round or as late as the second or third round.
