College Football Playoff field announced
The final CFP rankings and playoff field were announced Sunday afternoon. The top four teams will make up the playoff field. While there were undoubtedly some tough choices to be made, here is the four team playoff bracket the committee came up with.
The Rose Bowl Game (moved to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX because of COVID restrictions in California): No. 1 Alabama (11-0) vs. No. 4 Notre Dame (10-1)
Allstate Sugar Bowl: No. 2 Clemson (10-1) vs. No. 3 Ohio State (6-0)
Texas A&M just missed the playoff, finishing ranked No. 5. Oklahoma's Big 12 Championship win propelled the Sooners to the No. 6 ranking, while unbeaten Cincinnati finished at No. 8.
The Playoff games can be seen on New Year's Day on ESPN. The Rose Bowl will be played at 4 PM ET and will be followed by the Sugar Bowl at 8 PM ET. The winners will play in the National Championship on January 11 at 8 PM ET.
