Legal Updates: Cowboys’ Crawford, Redskins’ Nicholson
Two NFC East players got news on opposite ends of the legal spectrum on Tuesday.
According to ESPN, Dallas Cowboys’ defensive end Tyrone Crawford was charged with unlawful assembly in Florida. The incident occurred at a bar back in March. The maximum legal penalty is 60 days in jail.
ESPN is also reporting that Redskins’ safety Montae Nicholson has had all charges dropped from a December incident in Virginia. He was charged with public swearing and intoxication.
It is still unknown what disciplinary actions the players will face from the league.
