NFL Franchise tags

NFL teams had until 4 pm ET Tuesday to apply the franchise tag to impending free agents. The tag keeps the player on that team for a year at the average salary of the top five players at their position. Any player who did not receive the designation will hit free agency and be free to sign anywhere. Here is what happened
