Raiders trade kicker to Bears

Reports out of Chicago camp last week weren’t good, as 6 of the 8 kickers the Bears tried out missed the exact field goal Cody Parkey missed in the playoffs last season. Apparently, reinforcements are on the way. The Bears have traded for kicker Eddy Pineiro from the Raiders. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Oakland received a 2020 7th round draft pick with the condition that Pineiro lasts 5 games on the active roster. Pineiro now joins Chris Blewitt and Elliott Fry in the kicking competition for Chicago.
