Raiders Trade Rising Receiver to Atlanta

The Las Vegas Raiders have traded third-year wide receiver, Bryan Edwards, to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round draft pick. A 2023 seventh-round pick is also heading to Las Vegas.

Edwards was a third-round pick by the Raiders in 2020 out of South Carolina after playing for then-head coach Jon Gruden at the Senior Bowl. He was featured much more in the Vegas offense during his second season and is coming off of a career-best 571 yards and three touchdowns.

Atlanta was in desperate need of receivers with the absence of Calvin Ridley in 2022 and a thin depth chart behind him. Tight end Kyle Pitts will be a huge help, but a duo of Edwards and rookie Drake London instantly improves the Falcons' offense.
