Seahawks find pass-rusher
Multiple media outlets have reported that former Lions’ defensive end Ziggy Ansah has signed a 1 year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. The deal is reportedly worth up to $13.5 million with $5.5 million guaranteed.
Ansah is a former top 5 draft pick from 2013. He has 48 career sacks, including 14.5 during an All-Pro 2015 season, but has struggled with injuries since then. The Lions gave him the franchise tag last year, and he only played in 7 games.
This deal fills a hole in Seattle left by the Frank Clark trade. If Ansah can stay on the field, the Seahawks got a pretty good deal.
