Thursday Night Football Week 6
The NFL will begin Week 6 of the 2021 season tonight with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-1) visiting the Philadelphia Eagles (2-3). The game will be available on Fox and the NFL Network at 8:20 PM ET.
The defending champion Buccaneers have looked just as good as they did during their playoff run last season. The offense is clicking on all cylinders and even Tom Brady looks improved--if that's even possible. They've only lost to the Rams so far, who are really the only NFC team with the offense to challenge them.
Tampa will be without TE Rob Gronkowski in this game due to multiple injuries. That could be a big loss against a more formidable opponent, but Tampa still has plenty of playmakers to beat the Philly secondary.
The Eagles have played better than expected under first-year head coach Nick Sirianni. Outside of an embarrassing performance against the Cowboys in Week 3, Philly has been in every game. However, the offense will have its biggest challenge yet against Tampa and may not be able to keep up.
It will be up to the Eagles' defense to keep them in this game by getting pressure on Brady to force inaccurate throws and stuffing the run with their stout defensive line--which is their biggest strength.
Will the Eagles be able to keep up? Tune in to find out.
